If the SRS, cruise, and horn all go out at the same time, what's the problem? I think it is either the cable reel our possibly the main relay. Can anyone help? And what's possible costs?

Cable reel
I just took my 92 legend into the dealer and i guess the cable reel is out. Its gonna cost 700 dollars to get it fixed and no one else can do it because only acura has the codes/ computer to fix it. I was having problems with the horn and cruse control... basicly all the stuff on the stearing wheel.

Are you sure you have to take it to the dealer? Mine just started acting up like sconr1's car. I have that monsterous dealer book and it doesn't look to hard to replace. You don't even have to mess with the computer or anything.
OK......now that I'm lookin at it, it doesn't look easy, but it's very possible to do. You have to remove the lower dash and the steering wheel, but if it saved a lot of $$$$ its worth it to me. If you have anymore info on this let me know Nathaniel |
