jumper out the clutch switch

Which wires do I need to connect to jumper out the clutch switch on a
96 ranger. I have no power to the solenoid, but the solenoid does work
(it is new along with starter). I'm trying to determine if it is the clutch
switch or the ignition switch that is bad. When key is turned to the on position then jump the solenoid the engine will start and run.

Thanks
Mike
