The Xmods need a very smooth floor like marble or wood...if you have tiled floors the bumps cause the electronics to fail, and on carpet they are so low that the bottom drags along and burns up the motor.

Re: decisions decisions

personally id take the losi, but i like trucks more than cars for R/C anyway. The mini-t isnt as customizable, but still has alot of potential to tune it.

Re: decisions decisions

its also losi, with a full pistol grip, and im pretty sure it uses electornics on par with HPI's mini RS4, and as long as they are compatable, tis going in toa place where there is huge support. plus since its losi they can charge more than radio shacck and people will buy them. It also is an offroad vehicle, and im sure thats part of the cost

The Losi is so adorable, it even has ballbearings and a slipper clutch! If that doesn't change your diaper I don't know what will!

If you get the micro RS4 you'll be really happy, they're much faster than the XMODS. they can be run on carpet and in a clean tennis court, but if you run them in the street they'll get destroyed by the pebbles and cracks in the pavement. it would be like driving your real car in a parking lot littered with bricks and trenches.

The XRAY mini is extremely sick! They have independent suspension which is an improvement over the HPI, I hope you don't have to mug someone to get one because they're not cheap.
