Talking Decisions Decisions Decisions Which Engine?

Ok here is the deal. I have a 98' ex. I contacted the boyz at skunk 2 (probably the best customer service ever). They said i wouldn't need a camber kit unless i drop my car over 2.5" Here is what i want to do. I already have H/I/E. its not enough. So i am in search of a good condition B18c1 (gsr). For the swap, i'm talking complete swap. I plan on doing new clutch, Headers and intake, pullies, injectors, pump, rail, regulator. To start. How does that sound. In the future i am think (long term) i may go vortech SC with a 50 shot of nos. I drag on the weekends for grudge matches, but it is mainly for street racing. Lemme know what you guys think and if any of you know where I can get the engine cheaper or have any other suggestions, let me know!

And then both of you guys w/ you sewing maching powered cars get passed by a moped w/ a 5hp Engine and he goes on to put 5 car lengths on you. Racing an EX vs a DX is like a 10 speed bike vs a golden retriever.

IMO i would go with the B16. There's way more aftermarket support for it and again IMO the best motor honda has ever made. It's also ALOT cheaper than a B18C1 also.

The engine only has about 50k on it and it is in mint condition. I will be more than willing to sell it to you. Just give me a little while to get the scratch together for my new engine :o) How much would you pay for the complete swap? I've seen them on e-bay for like $1000 bucks. But I dunno. Anyways. Any ideas on places with decent swap packages at better than $3500 prices?

Why is the b16 better? is it only 1.6? and It has less power right? I guess it would be cool to ge tthe specs on the two and compare. My friends just bought a GSR and there is no way in hell he will be faster than me. So explain to me why I should go with the b16. If you can convice me I will love it cause' it costs a lot less! I am planning on going all engine for the first year or so, but I will end up going forced air or NOS or both! lemme know!

Theres plenty of parts for any b-series motors. IF you want torque then go with a b18c1. Or from wat i heard try to get a gsr block with a JDM b16 head for better flow.
