First AF Completed Project! Dale Earnhardt "Wild Side"

Hey everyone!

First of all, I'm really happy to be able to contribute to this forum. There's an amazing amount of talent displayed here every day. I've been lurking for about six months now, and have learned a tremendous amount by just reading and watching.

So...I wanted to share a model I'm quite proud of, for it being only the second I've built. It's a Revell Dale Earnhardt "Wild Side" kit which I thought would make a great Christmas gift for my girlfriend's Father.

Enjoy! All comments are appreciated!

Thumbs up

First of all welcome to A.F.
I’m really pleased to see your debut thread, first because I’m a great fan of Dale Earnhardt, responsible for I start to fallow de Nascar championship some years ago, second because you have done a really great work. Very clean build, great two colour body paint and the decals placement is perfect.
I will be waiting for your next project. Well done.

Thanks so much for all of the kind comments you guys!!!

I'll post some pics of my completed Tamiya Alpine Renault 110 shortly. I'll also be starting a progress report of my KPGC-10 Nissan Skyline.

I feel like my background with architectural models has helped most with my patience and craft. However, I have had to learn A LOT about painting, for which this forum has been an excellent resource!

Thanks again! Looking forward to future builds...
