this question is lame.
there's nothing that you can do as a "trick" that's safe/legal on public roads... anything else?

Re: Neat Tricks On The Road

You could practice heel/toe downshifting. I'm suprised nobody thought to mention it. It's basicly just learning how to keep the revs up so you don't upset the chassis when downshifting, unlike engine braking or hard brake drifting. In brake drifting, you actually would use heel/toe to jack the back end up and get the power to the wheels immediately before the turn so you can spend your time in the corner modulating the throttle and trail braking. This enhances the cars dive posture. Heel toe while trail braking? Yikes, I don't know, that would be a wicked transition turn and some fancy ass footwork.

BOOKS ARE BETTER THAN FORUMS but not as fun.

Re: Neat Tricks On The Road

I guess if thats what you call a trick heres more:

1. Rev your car without looking at the Tach, listen to your engine and guess at what RPM your on... look at the tach to check. This is to train you to know where your car's RPM is so you gain the knowledge of maintaining the car at any specific RPM or power band while your racing.

2. While your driving and you see a piece of item on the road, try to hit it with your tire... this is to train you to know the position of your car on the road.

3. Chew gum while your driving...

That rear wiper thing is great. My friend's GTI has a date with a tennis ball.
