Hi All,
My timing belt broke and after changing, I am getting vibration when the engine is running. seems to me that cylinder 1 is not firing, 2-3-4 are fine. when i pulled the cables from the spark plug, i can hear the engine hesistate and then back to normal. When i do the same for cylinder 1, i do not hear a difference as would the other cylinders. All my cables are good, tested with meter. Changed cap and rotor. Any suggestions?? |

Re: 1991 prelude cylinder 1 not firing
Did you pull the plugs out?
How fast were you going/rpm when the timing belt broke? |

I did pull the plugs out and make sure they are firing. used diferent cables and new plugs. I was doing about 80-90km when it happened. |
