If you ask me, I had a rather fun weekend....at Laguna Seca!!!!
man, what an experience compare this to Button and Streets...it's like chocolate and shit! (borrowing a sentence from Initial D..hehe)Anyway, you had to be there to be awed by the spectacular sight of Laguna..now I know why it's world famous! When we were there, the touring races was on...King Motorsports also tested their full Mugen S2000 with a carbon fiber hardtop...WOW! anyway, enjoy these pics...if you are into driving, this is the place to be! http://www.digitalracer.com/news/default.asp

Laguna Seca is, IMHO, the best racetrack in the US. It's got everything from a nice, long straight to hairpin curves, to uphills, downhills, etc. I took a track day there last year on my VFR and *LOVED* it. The corkscrew is SO much fun. Did you guys know that from the top of the corkscrew to turn 11 (the hairpin right before the long straight) is a 13 story vertical drop? The accelleration you get through the corkscrew and around Rainey Curve is just unbelievable. I really hope i have the chance to go back someday, but now that i no longer live in CA, i doubt it will happen.
