WELL... SALEEN ISNT A TUNER, HE IS A SMALL MARKET MANUFACTURER.
ROUSH IS A TUNER. SALEEN SEEMS MORE SOUND OVERALL. SINCE THEY ARE A MANUFACTURER, THEY GO FOR A FULLY ROUNDED PACKAGE, BUT THAT DOESNT MAKE ROUSH ANY LESS. SALEEN IS A CAR THOUGH, ROUSH IS A MUSTANG W/ ROUSH PARTS ON IT... THAT IS THE WAY I SEE IT... FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN YOU SEE A SALEEN, YOU KNOW THAT IT IS A SALEEN. WHEN YOU SEE A ROUSH, YOU KINDA WONDER IF IT IS A BODY KIT, OR WHAT IS ON IT... AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT I SEE :licker: |

Roush.....Saleen is all looks anymore, I hardly think Saleen is better than, Roush. When you drive a Roush you feel the difference. When you drive a Saleen you just think "This is a pretty car." Saleens are simply popular because they are pleasing to the eye.
Roush Wins hands down. Peace......:bandit: |

Im curious to hear how many races Saleen has won. I would go with the Saleen, even though a Roush would be just good. Most people buy a car with looks in mind first and performance second so that is my main reason for wanting a Saleen.

saleen is a manufacturer.
they are not billed as a tuner. check it out. i never said saleen won a ton of races, but saleen is actually racing their mustangs. as well as running in alms with the s7 they win with that. oh, no tuner manufacturers their own cars (s7) |

oh yeah, i would much rather have a high po car, i can pay for looks...

well if you really want to talk about racing records, Roush has so many more wins centered around his motors it's ridiculous. The guy has been building race motors for longer than some of us have been alive.
On the subject of tuner Mustangs, I would go with Kenny Brown over either of the tuner/manufacturers listed. He's the only guy who takes Mustang handling serious enough to actually redesign the suspensions with tubular and different geometry setups. Everyone else has the reactive stance that bolt-ons will take Mustang handling to the 21st century, which simply isn't true anymore.

i agree on the roush motor thing. that is why i left it out. and yes, kb has better suspension ideas than ford, but saleen also manufactures the s7... ground up car there... so that is pretty cool to me...
and i m not saying that either is less... just that to me, performance is similar for both, or close enuff, and i would go for the saleen for the looks... if kb had been added, i would take one simply for the fact that they are done in a similar way to the 60s cars. no body kits, just a hood and big wheels. cant go wrong there... |

I'd go with Saleen.
They are classed as a manufacturer, but are still really 'just' a tuner. They do have the S7 though...which is why I chose them.

I'd say Saleen, I like there mods better. There's an S351 down the street from me. It is so cool because you don't ee too many cars with Sidepipe & a Biplane Wing. Ya!
