Re: s7 saleen vs carrera gt

I personally like the Carrera GT's styling and finish better...dont know for sure who's faster...probably the S7...

the Saleen S7 is a pure American sports car
it is packed with a 7.0L V8 engine producing 550 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque
The vehicle also weighs only 2870 lbs, comparing to the Lamborghini Murcielago, which weighs over 4000 lbs.
Although the S7 cost $120,000+USD more than the Murcielago
S7 is also equipped with HUGE brakes, 15in front, 14in rear, no ABS
The S7 could also be ordered with DVD navigation and rear-view camera.

The Carrera GT is claimed to have a 5.7 V10 engine which produce 605 horsepower and 435lb-ft of torque and with a redline of 8,400rpm
With a projected top speed of 205mph
The car weighs around 3,042lbs
It is equipped with four 14.96in ceramic brakes
