Saleen 351 vs. WS6 vs. Roush

Who would win in this three car race, i bet it would be one hell of a race even though the 351 Saleen would most likely win (not a ford fan, just want to raise some issues)

.

Whats a Saleen 351? I know there are many different types of Saleen Mustangs, and I know there is one that is probably slower then a Trans Am.

Why was this even brought up though? Does it have any significance to the world? Or is the topics purpose to bring up arguements.

If the WS6 is stock. Then i would hate to say that the SC351 then SC Roush then the WS6. If the 351, roush isnt SC'd then i would say the 351 then the WS6 then the Roush.
If i recall correctly the SC351 is low 12 sec at traps more than 111mph. The Roush stage 3 SC isnt that fast, it is a high 12 sec car at only 109-110mph in traps, but that still enough to beat the WS6. I dont know if the 351 Saleen could be sold with out the SC. I would guess the 351 N/A would get the 1/4 mile in high 12 sec at 109-111 mph. So basically the WS6 doesnt have a chance stock against the Saleeen 351 SC'd or not. It will have a chance againt a N/A roush since it is no different than a mustang GT engine. U should be comparing the WS6 with Saleen 281, not the 351 since they compare it with GTS Vipers and 911TT porsche's. The 281 SC'd or not the WS6 does beat it. I used to beat SC'd 281 with my 99 Cobra let alone the LS1. Dont quote me on the Saleen 351 numbers because it used to be around in 97 and i just dont have the exact information from the top of my head right now.

thats nice

351 ci no shit thats pretty obvious. Is it one of the Supercharged Saleens or not is what I'm really asking? How much power does it put out? And yeah if I was driving a Trans Am I would win lol thanks Me haha.

Wow you want to talk shit about the vehicles I drive ok thats fine. I don't give a fuck what you've seen that looks better, I've seen tons of Xtremes and S-10s that look better then mine. You're just trying to start up a huge arguement with absolutely no point so fuck you.

A Saleen 351 is a supercharged 5.8L V8 with almost 500hp.

Yes it would beat a regular LS1 trans am.

But the Roush would be a good race for an LS1.

I think the SC 351 are 510HP. The non SC are around high 300's maybe 370-390.

ok...

What exactly is this 351 engine, is Saleen just making this from scratch? I've never heard of a Ford "350" which is pretty much what this is + 1 inch more.

It is bascially a 5.8L engine. Check this website http://www.saleen.com/auto/S351/s351con.html

I didnt find anymore info on this car, but this site will give u an idea of how fast this car is.

the 351 has been around. ford used them in the '95 cobra r's. the saleen s351's weren't supercharged until '97. then the vortech was added. in that race, s351 wins hands down, then (like someone mentioned above) it depends whether or not the roush is blown.
