what to do with the prelude

I have a friend who bought a 93 prelude and he has just gotten a cold air intake. the only bad thing about the car is that it is automatic. he isnt sure whether he should spend the money to switch out the transmission or just invest in a new car. what do u guys think he should do.

sell and new car, unless he has lots of upgrades and will just lose too much money by selling it

So sell it for more than you bought it, and start your own project.
