Whats with the "reputation points"
It doesn't make any sense.
Some folks here have a reputation of being funny. Others for the stupidity. Some for being annoying and some for “must reads”. And that reputation reads differently depending on how you look at it. 10 reputation points for being an asshole is much worse then 2 points at being funny.  Not to mention that there are some folk here who think they know everything. The problem with them, is that they get in the way of those of us who do.

I guess this is all there is to it. The feature is really only useful when searching for members names in the member list, as you can search by their reputation. Other than that I don't see much need for it.
