17" Tire Recommendatons Accord V6coupe

i'm going to buy 17x7 rims for my 2002 accord coupe V6, but i'd like to know how large of a tire i can fit under my car without too much hassle? i plan to lower my car about 1.5 to 2 inches. any and all your recommendations would be appreciated. thnx sooo much.

Best size would be 215/50-17. Fit will still be pretty tight especially after you lower the car, so may have to roll the fender lips see below link for more on this:

i'm using 214/45/17 on my 2002 accord and lowered 1.5" with no problem and it looks great!

Wheels for Accord V6 Coupe

I came across this link while searching for possible upgrades to my CL-S (the CL-S and Accord Coupe are very nearly the same car except for few engine and some minor differences - much the same way that a Camaro and Firebird resemble one another):

They used 8.0-by-19-inch Maya DTM wheels ($820 each) & 245/35ZR-19 Michelin Pilot Sport tires from the Tire Rack. Curiously TireRack doesn't include this in their list of optional sizes for my car although Discount Tire Direct does.

We don't sell Maya wheels . . . that's a misprint or some confusion their part.

Based on what we've test fit for the car, they must rolled and/or modified fenders to get the 245's to clear so that's why we don't recommend it.
