I was wondering what kind of engine I would be able to put in my 1997 civic ex that would be great for a turbo but also have 160 or over hp.

p.s. - could someone inform me or know a site where i could find info on the obd thing.

please answer if you have the time.
thanx in advance.

you can either go with a B16a, or either B18a/b. just go to google and type in those engines. or type in JDM engines. you can also go to www.importbuilders.com.

well

well if you wanna turbo a motor just turbo the stock ex.. and al the money you save put into a fully built head (cheap on ebay)
and then some low compression pistons and just little nik nacks to beef it up..

a b16 swap will go for about 2600-3600

just build up a single came.. it never hurts

turbo kit- 1200-1500
head w/cam,port polish,valve job,bigger t.body -400-700
pistons and rods 800-1200

cheaper i say!
