BBC: Calls for Blairs resignation
Since Dr David Kelly Annouced that he was not the BBC's source in the MOD to the investigative board there has been controversy. His body was found in a Wooden Area at a Beauty Spot. He had a cut on his wrist and bled to death. His death has made the row over the Iraq Weapons Dossier that much more worse. I'm not sure about whether or not he should go but whatever happened to Dr Kelly doesn't sound like suicide.

Blair showed his true colours when he went against the wishes of his party membership and took Britain into an unwinnable war to please George. No matter how long the troops occupy Iraq, they will never succeed in dismantling Al Quaeda, nor can they force the Iraqi public to accept an electoral system whose values are alien to them. How the hell can America claim to be installing a democracy when they will determine who is and who isn't entitled to stand for election?

T - that is a gross misrepresentation of whats happening in Iraq.
As for the topic at hand. The people who'll call for Blair or Bush to go are the same people who didn't want them elected originally. It happens to every elected leader.

actually the person who called for blair to go was one of the Labour ex-MP
I really don't mind getting rid off said dictator but the way they went about it and the final result indicates to me its a bit of a waste of time. The Labour government is still trying to avoid the WMD scandal by looking for said BBC source. On the BBC website today it annouced that David Kelly was infact the main source.

Back to the situation in Iraq. If a previously unknown Iraqi stood for office as a supporter of Saddam Hussein, would the Americans in charge of the process allow it?Of course not.True democracy is a key part of the U.S. constitution, but the US can anfd does use whatever diplomatic, covert,or military action it sees fit to make sure that the people that the US favours end up in positions of authority. |

Actually to get back to the the question in hand "Should Blair go?"...then yes I think he should go especially in the light of recent events where he has grossely misrepresented the people that have elected him with a dressed up weapons dossier on Iraq.
As for the David Kelly affair, I found it very peculiar that a man that was accused of being the government mole disappeared and then found dead, that his death was as simple as him taking his own life. Although when hearing what his family and friends have had to say about his state of mind then it is concievable that he did in fact commit suicide. Something else I find peculiar (and I am open to being corrected on this) an Irish news broadcast stated that an intensive investigation into who the government mole had actually cleared Mr Kelly of any accusations. But now it seems that the British government are actually stating that it was in fact Mr Kelly who was the government mole. Very conveinient to blame a dead man who obviously cant answer for himself!!!!! Ciaran |

BBC are the ones stating it
The investigative body was made up of MP's they questioned Mr Blair and Dr David Kelly amongst other people. He denied being the government mole when questioned.

And the investigative body where happy that he wasnt the mole?? Thatsmore along the lines of what I heard rather then him saying "Im not the mole" and the investigative body saying "Oh ok sorry for the accusations we were wrong!!!" (sorry note the sarcasim).
Either way you have ot give the guy credit maybe there is the odd decent politician left ... and I mean the very odd one. Ciaran |

the guy was a UN Weapons Inspector.
The board accepted that he had talked to the BBC but he claimed he wasn't the main source.
