Newbie needs Odyssey help
I'm new to the forums here, but searches for tips on the Odyssey van don't turn up much. I've bought poly bushings for the front sway bar, and poly endlink kits, but want to know if a strut tower bar for an Accord will fit my 1995 Odyssey. I understand that the van is based off the Accord, but also realize there are differences, as well. For example: I see that 1994-1997 Accords came with either 23mm or 25mm front sway bars. I measured mine before buying the bushings, and it's 1 1/4" in diameter (~31-33mm)!!! Well, any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. If I'm gonna have to drive a van, it might as well handle and accelerate decently!
Thanx, Darrell |

the bar for accord most likely won't fit the odyssey. Although the chassis is based on the Acc, they are very different in the width and height spec, which make the chassis are not exactly the same.

Re: Newbie needs Odyssey help
If you want better handling you should try to find a smaller sway for the front and a larger for the rear.

thanks
Thanks to the above replies! I'll do some measuring, and check what I get against an Accord strut tower bar I saw at a local shop. The guy there said that if I bought it, and it didn't fit, I could return it with no re-stocking fee! I'll wait untill I get the cold air intake on, and clean up the engine bay some, then I'll worry about the strut bar. Again, thanks.

Hi dwmilton,
I have looked through some of the tuning website. It seems no manufacturer makes Odyssey Strut Bar. You may try the Eibach, it seems they have some option parts for Odyssey from converting the Accord parts. you can try this link: http://www.wholesalehyperformance.com/bars.html Joe
