Want to paint my brake calipers on 07 town car

I Want to paint my brake calipers without draining the brake fluid and have them loose and tied off . What do I have to do to remove them from the rotors?
Thanks for any help

Re: Want to paint my brake calipers on 07 town car

Don't they have mounting bolts? If so just unbolt them but don't let them hang there using the hoses to hold them up. When I was a mechanic on the older cars we had to do this to remove the rotors for bearing re-greasing, I often found a way to let the calipers lay on some part of the structure of the car while I pulled the rotors.

I see some of the car enthusiasts who do paint their calipers, looks nice.
