Looking to buy first car
Hey im 16 and just started working and trying to save up for a car. Im looking for a used car at below $5000. I want something sporty looking and reliable. There were a lot of cars im interested such as preludes (im 6'3 though and theyre kind of small but i really dont mind being cramped), 90s mustangs and camaros, eclipses, grand prixs, civic, older bmws and integras. If i could pick, i like low, wider cars. Any help would be great, thank you everyone.

Re: Looking to buy first car
Welcome aboard!
The Pittsburgh market for used cars shouldn't be a problem. Truth be told, I would check out insurance rates - you wouldn't believe how expensive it will be to insure you at your age and with some of the cars you've listed. RUN, don't walk, from BMW's - the maintenance will kill you if the insurance rates don't. For as "uncool" as it is to drive a 4-door (sedan), your wallet will thank you for the savings you get from insurance. Hope this helps! Let us know what you finally buy!
