2000 Montana courtesy lights stuck on

My daughter has an 2000 Montana, and just today she noticed the courtesy lights are staying on all the time. I checked for a door switch - I can't find one. The door ajar light is NOT on. I checked to make sure the lights were switched off, and that the interior light dimmer was not all the way up. Finally just pulled the fuse to keep from draining the battery. Any suggestions?

Sorry, that's a 2000 Montana

Re: 01 Montana courtesy lights stuck on

Wasn't there a switch in the overhead console, where you could manually shut the interior lights off(this saved the battery if you were cleaning the car and had the doors open)?

Re: 01 Montana courtesy lights stuck on

I have an 03 montana with the same issue. This would be great help if someone has a solution to this. for now we override the lights with the overhead counsel switch that way you can turn them on when needed without pulling the fuse shutting the entire system down. they won't turn on when the doors open.
