01 Silverado - DEAD!!

Ok, I appoligize if this is a repeat question but I didn't see it in the first 100 or so pages.
I drove to work today with no issues. Because my truck and trailer were taking up half the parking lot, I went out to move it. When I got it......nothing!! When you turn the key, the radio, blower and accessories all turn on normally. When you turn it further it does nothing. The volt meter stays all the way down, gauges dont move and not even a sound. I charged the battery hoping it may be as simple as that. Nothing! I can jump the starter and it turns over just fine. (the starter was replaced two days ago..) I also moved the relays under the hood and I cannot even hear the fuel pump kick in. Any ideas??

Thanks!!!

Re: 01 Silverado - DEAD!!

If your battery has two cables on the red/plus side, like my truck, then you probably have to remove the bolt and clean both cables especially between them. I also had to replace the bolt to get it to tighten properly (NAPA or other auto parts store.
