bunch of problems

i got a 99 alero with a 3.4 one time while driving and making a left turn my car had died out in the middle of an intersection. someone used their car to push me out and when i was finally in the grass i got mad and punched th steering wheel. solved the inital prob which was an ignition coil died but when i punched the steering wheel it broke it. i can hld the wheel and turn it up down left right like i was driving a jet. the turn signals work sometimes but if leave them on while turning they cut off and make a buzzing noise. punching it did fix the horn which had not worked for 2 years. also i only get 91-21 mpg in the city. its seems kinda low for although camp lejeune in known for horrible traffic and bad driving. any help would be appreciated.
