1997 Jimmy AWD driveshaft

I have recently purchased a 97 Jimmy AWD and was wondering if the front driveshaft has been modified. The driveshaft is flanged at the front diff and at the transfer case. All the 4wd models I have seen have a u-joint yoke at the front diff and a slip yoke at the transfer case.

Re: 1997 Jimmy AWD driveshaft

Depending on what axle you have, it could have flanges on both ends: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/po...pvaW50IGxpZmUu

or, it could have a slip joint at the transfer case and a U joint at the axle: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/po...pvaW50IGxpZmUu
