90 Jeep Cherokee 4X4
Hi,
I have a 90 Cherokee with a 93 4.0 Engine in it. of course the wiring doesn't match up. any one have any ideas what i need to do.

For starters the 90 uses a completely different fuel-injection system than the 93 does...also the 90 lacks an onboard diagnostic system of any kind, whereas the 93 has one.
Youll either have to get a donor vehicle with the same setup as the 93 and start swapping a bunch of stuff over..or count your losses and get the right engine to start with. You would need an engine from an 87-90 Cherokee.
