Z71 tahoe 2000

My tahoe started today really rough every time I accelerate a forceful sound where you hear some aluminum or metal bouncing on the bottom of the car as well when I let go of the accelerator the truck comes to a complete stop. When I try turning right I need to force the gas or it would not accelerate. Would this be a suspension problem?

Re: Z71 tahoe 2000

Did you drive over something or back over something that may have smashed the lower access plate between the transmission and engine that allows access to the flywheel and torque converter causing a binding issue between engine and the transmission? It might explain starting roughly by preventing the motor from turning freely while starting, a rubbing noise while running you would hear at idle or higher rpms, sluggish acceleration, and rapid deceleration.
