Check Engine Light Again
I replaced the Canister Purge Solenoid a year ago for $40 at Autozone and my light stayed off till to 11-12-10. Can that part go bad within a year?

Re: Check Engine Light Again
first, what year is it? Second, if it's a 2005-present Dakota, they have problems with the actual canister failing causing these codes. If in doubt, go to a shop and have them put smoke in the evap system; this will help them locate the source of the leak.
