Integra GSR: Which exhaust is right?

i have a '96 integra gsr and im tryin to find the right exhaust and i have no clue what to get. originally i was going for the Apexi N1 cat back and the GT header, but then i heard that it's obnoxiously loud and i'm not looking for extra tickets... i thought about the Greddy stuff but i'm not sure 'bout that either. what i want out of it is good sound but not rediculously loud, and good power gain. any suggestions/tips would help, thanks. :bandit:

Personally I love the sound of the N1. I have a Racing medallion and it isn't so bad but I hate the size of it. 5 Zigen sounds like shit but looks sweet as hell. I'd say overall go Skunk2. Sounds sweet as hell and is barely noticable.

i have a rs*r invidia, which is now discontinued. its just like skunk2's except for the "invidia" badging on the side instead of "skunk2 power." rs*r makes them for skunk now. its full 304L grade stainless polished t a mirror-like shine, 60mm piping, 0 bottlenecks, all tig welded (very nice welds), 3/8" thick flanges, sounds great and comes w/ silencer.

I took a few pics for someone that inquired about buying it:

i would recommend GReddy. I have the Evolution system and i love it. i think it sounds perfect. but i also agree with going with a Skunk2 system.

I have dc sports which is pretty good, also recommend Greddy Evo. Thermal research is decent also. I know someone with apexi-n1 and you will get tickets, they are stupidly loud imo

My bro has a 2000 GSR, he got custom piping all the way back, with cats and resonator still there, and bolted on the Mugen muffler, its not that loud at all, sounds really good actually, doesn't have the low weak sound, like its puttering in low rpm, or have a whining sound like a weed wacker, it sounds like it has guts. (its sensible, not loud).. if you got the cash, do somthing custom and than bolt a muffler on. i did the same, but I got a magnaflow muffler, it sounds good, but after like 4500 rpm, it seems like you can't hear it amymore, just engine sound. But people like it. If i had some real cash though, i go with custom piping and a JIC muffler.. they look sweet.

which exhaust

imo i recommend the greddy evo catback. i have it on my 00 gsr and it sounds deep and sporty not all whiny like the cheap coffee can exhaust. u can only feel minimal difference in power but i plan to get a dc 4-1 header and skunk2 intake manafold. i have the Dc Dac intake system now. and i think my car sounds pretty nice. just my opinion
