Help indentify which is right way to install TBS !!

Hi my car have crazy TB respond, like when Im driving it bound between 800 to 2k, and then it make my car jerking bad. So i have to unplug the TBS and adjust with biss crew, then it it idle and work fine. no more boucing rpm or jerking when driving any more. it usually happen when I begin to move the car, or try to slow down.

This happent after I was take out my TB and changing the TB shaft seal. I take out the TBS and when I install I forgot how to screw it in, look like you can crew the bolt in both way. take a look at pix 1 and pix 2 and tell me which one is install right. Pay attention to the bolt that tight the TBS in. # 2 is how i install before then those boucing rpm or jerking when moving the car.

#1 I install the top bolt, it was on the left of the TBS, and botton bolt was on the right of the TBS.

#2 The top bolt was on the right of the TBS, and bottom bolt was in the left of the TBS.

Can you guy match this with your car, which one is the right way to install the TBS please thanks.

This is exactly why I love having dsmlink, all you have to do is twist the TPS untill the sensor shows .63v on the laptop.

Re: Help indentify which is right way to install TBS !!

Hi I check and ajust with the ohm meter. Here a few question
http://www.plymouthlaser.com/tps.htm

when I hook up 1 and 4 my ohm read 4.89 ohms, and Plymouthlaser.com told me it should read 5k when the throttle close, is between 4.89ohms and 5k any different ?

and when I hook up 2 and 4 it read 9.6k, I cant adjust the TPS to 9k exactly. is that ok ?
