run an evo?

Theres a guy in town thats wants to run me bad. I guess maybe I have underestimated your cars since he is talking a lot of smack. I asked him what he has and he said no nos, all bolt ons. I run low 11s with 500rwhp in an 03 cobra with a few goodies.
What do you think?
I guess it would be fun regardless. If I lose, I'll give you guys a bow.

Re: run an evo?

Well an any EVO is capable of running 11s, but it takes a little work, and a car that heavily modfied would be easy to spot, and its owner would not be talking smack, he would be at the track enjoying it.

In a straight line you should totaly destroy him, but if you want a real race find somewhere with some corners and see what happens, I should imagine a 500hp RWD street car set up for drag racing would be a bit of a dog on a proper race circut.

Thanks for the reply. The car is actually set up for road racing. It has irs and some other goodies and z rated tires. I haven't timed it on slicks. Should be in the 10s
I going to run him. I think we are going to run for a set of tires. If I lose, I'll consider selling my car.
