I don't think a Skyline like that belongs in the "Race" category. Is it sponsored, and plastered with race car sponsor decals? Does it have a roll cage? One bucket seat? Slicks?

Didn't think so. Those are the things that I think make a racecar.

So by your description, a rally car has 2 seats and treaded tyres(gravel spec or wet weather spec) so it goes into the street category?

Well this is sad to say but after telling Integra14 I would let him handle it but try to give him pointers on running the thing, he got pissed and told me to handle it.

So current rules still stand. I WILL let the deadline be June 7th unless that isnt enough time. And i will be only taking the first 20 cars for each category.

I still will be giving Integra14 partial credit for the idea of the contest. i wish we could have done it together.

All cars will be PM'd to me....with a category entry and a brief description of the Mods and any Build notes....

Once I get one or two more cars...I will start the thread of cars in the contest. Hopfully it can be posted to a sticky. It will be on this forum...not TR for all the confusion. Thanx.

it's ok....I'm only taking the first 20 entries for each category....so there wont be as many now..

Augh! What about us people that will be one of the ones that get theirs in late, because they're waiting for an order of something?

I will be trying this...if i get some complaints about it, Iwill accept any.
I want to make this how everybody wants it.

I take it that a lot of people are going to be cut?

This thread is getting far to long and to much is being changed each time ppl read it.

IMO.....Make the rules and stick by them.

Give the date the contest will close/how entry is sent/how to vote/category's etc etc etc etc so people know whats happening.

Once you have done that i'll close this thread and start over again IN A NEW THREAD WITH ALL THE RULES AND DONT CHANGE THEM !!

Give it plenty of thought so you are not changing the rules half way and make it nice and clear so everybody knows the rules.

1. 13-18 yrs of age for entry. Word will be taken.
2. Can enter only one model....pre-built or Current build.
3. 2 pics of car....1 overview and 1 collage containing many pics of anything about the car.
4. Pic Deadline is June 7th at 11:59 est.

There will be 2 categories of Cars to enter.

1. Street/Tuners
2. Race- THIS IS FOR KITS ISSUED AS RACE CARS AND ARE BUILT AS RACE CARS. A decaless Rally car does not belong in this category.

All models are to be 1:24/1:25 scale. Voting will be kept anonymous to insure that there is no favortisim. Votes will be PM'd to PMan to keep a final count. The thread w/the Models will be a sticky.
Voters must be registered at least a week prior to voting to insure nobody is making bogus accounts to vote for themselves.

Submiting a model.
Submiting a car will be done by PM'ing me w/the 2 Pics of the model. Be sure to include what category you are entering and a brief description of the car including any build mods and notes.
