:confused: but it's already painted and everything...anyway, I'm not in charge of the contest. Just voicing an opinion. It's up to K_Dog and Integra, as they seem to be the ones holding the contest.

That would be neat, the only problem being that there may not even BE an "old timers" comp.

Nope, 16 turning 17 this November...it's not too big of a deal, as I'd be leaving a month before the deadline for Governor's school, so in all likelihood I probably won't even have anything done before I go..

Well I have gotten ALOT of feedback from members saying they will be buisy and wont have time, so I made the deadline a SOLID 3 months for your build. That way we can see some killer detailed models rather than some rushed box stock kits. And so everybody has plenty of time to get their cars done and if mistakes happen, there is time to correct it.

Kdog please stop, because you have not discussed wiht me about taking over the contest, and making ur own rules. IF you want to help, then talk, don't just HIJACK my contest please

once again i will say that the contest is

DEADLINE IS JUNE 7th.... voting JUNE 14-20th

1st place winner will receive : SAS TRANSIT KIT... Focus Kit.... 1 exhausts, 1 intercoolers, and their name on Supratuners website, Malcoms, Huudos website, and Mine, and K-dogs

2nd place winner will receive: 2 exhausts and 2 intercoolers


what bout 3rd place.... does anyone have any little parts to contribute?

Integra14, what's wrong with the new rules we just made? They make alot more sense then the original set considering the amount of people entering and the types of models being built. And K-Dog didn't hi-jack your contest by any means, you weren't around when questions were being asked so someone had to answer the questions of me and my fellow modelers. Oh, btw i won't be entering if the final deadline is june 7th due to time constraints.

Integra, I feel that the rules Brian came up with are fair and much better. How can you judge a rally car against a friggin box stock integra or something like that? His rules make much better sense. I have other reasons for liking him in the leadership position anyway, but I'll take that to PMs rather than having a flame war on the boards.

well, sorry to the people who can't enter at June 7th cause thats when it has to be. Because I will be leaving for summer in a different city a little after that. So if some pople don't want to enter, than thats ok. ALSO, I would like to make it a slightly to Highly Modified cars only. Im doing this because THERe is WAYYYYY to many people. I would like to bring it down to 20 people.

kdog+ other members: if you would like to make a new contest, than fine, because this is HOW I want the contest to be run, and i think that i, being the founder, Should be able to make my OWN rules.

CURRENT RULES STAND.....EXCEPT:

2 Categories:

1. Street/Modified- Self Explanitory.....if you enter this... email pics to Integra14

2. Race- ANY RACE ORIENTED CAR.....PM pics to Myself.....

Yes.....and starting....*looks at watch*.....NOW....the contest has begun, remember, Race goes to myself, and Street/Tuners go to Integra14.....can be a pre-build or a current project. Send them via PM...

Yep...i'll take care of the voting to help out.
When the contest voting starts, people will have to be very clear on there voting and for which Categories they are voting in as there vote wont be counted if not clear on what they are voting for.

let me get this....only the first 20 people can enter right? how would we know who cuz somesay they dont wanna enter no more due to time and dates and ages:bloated:

There are currently >40 people entering the contest. So how are you going to decide which 20 will be allowed to enter?
Do you mean 20 entries per category or total of 20 people for the contest?

Due to complaints and demand, the deadline will be moved to July 1st. Don't rush....build a good detailed car;)

Submit all TUNER/STREET cars to me ALSO......I need to keep track of all of them to advoid confusion....PLEASE SUBMIT ALL TUNER/STREET to both ME AND INTEGRA14

no. the box stock and modified category are both together. This makes it easier to keep track of things. They will be competeing with eachother though.

this may be a pretty stupid question but what would a corvette zr1 be in:confused: also this is again a very stupid question but what is a transkit?

box stock. the street area I'd say. I'm not an official though, but I'm pretty sure that'll be it

Street/modified or racecars? What if you have a rally car or a JGTC car and you built it without decals, it's still a racecar but it looks like a streetcar. What class would cars like that go into? (Race cars without decals)

Is there a chance you can change it to 2 cars can enter? I think it'd get a much better turn out

A transkit would be a kit of parts that transform your model in some way. Thus, the name "Transkit".

Count me out of the contest, i dont really have time to build a model for it, cuz of my Monster V-8 S-10, and there are waaayyy to many people entering. So i'm out.
