Almost never.They are typically just called 'Canadian".

It is relatively rare that anyone feels the need to identify any one person by a race or nationality here. In larger cities, there are so many immigrants from around the world that nobody really cares to place racial or cultural labels on anyone. To do so would be considered mildly insulting and belittling imho.

The only significant exception is the use of the term Native Canadian, (because Aboriginals have a unique legal status here) and the term 'French-Canadian' or 'English Canadian' but this is due to the highly complex historic relationship between English and French-speaking regions of Canada.

Its not necessarily a problem with public health care (which is still one of the low end solutions) its how they did it. How they taxed it, and the economy they decided to pass it during. The last thing we need right now is a big ass tax increase.
