Updates yet anyone? Just curious... Don't wanna be posting up dates at the last minute like we always do and then half the people not show. I will be there this year for sure!

There's still no other track dates listed besides the one I shown a couple posts back. We do need to decide on a date soon as it is already May. I just got my schedule of all the fests that I'm doing this year so I'll know basically when I have step up some work during that week. So I'm taken care of as far as work.

Also, get a head count when we figure out a date.

I have to start looking at camp-grounds too. Every keeps saying the one I wanted to stay at sucks now, and I don't have the time to drive 2 hours or whatever to check it out. Im going to ask my buddy this week since he camps a lot and see what's a good place to go where we can drink, party and all.

BUT, in the town of Volo, is the Volo car museum.... a HUGE collection of movies cars, rare stuff, and tons of oldies. Went there last summer. Was pretty sweet. Saw the cars from the New Fast & Furious movie. They sell them too.

Anywho... it looks like it's about $34 per night. I'll call them and see for sure what the story is... BUT I NEED A HEAD COUNT! Also a date. Looks like the speedway isn't going to add anymore dates for Test And Tune, so see above for the dates on that.

Well, since last summer I've moved out, and have all associated bills with it. BLAH. Just 3 weeks ago I was laid off too. I still get unemployment but that doesn't leave much left over. Last year i was working 50-60 hours a week and was raking in the overtime.

I just don't see it happening this year unless i fall into a pile of cash somehow. I want to go. I loved driving my car all the way to Minnesota last year. It was awesome. But financially it won't happen for me this year which sucks because I've been looking forward to it especially since I read about all the people who are attending this year.

The car runs fine, just as strong as it did last year. But there is a lot of maintenance I need to do before running it that far and I just don't have the money to do it. Now that I live closer to town I don't need a car and it's been sitting at my mom's house for the last 2 months.

Ok this week I am picking a date for the meet. I don't care if it's a track day or what. The track is being retarded on getting back to me on more days it's open and people need to request vacation days and all. So if you have a preference, post it up. But sometime this week, the weekend will be chosen.

Ok I just found out my weekend off in August before the schedule is even up... I'm off the 1st and 2nd, 15th and 16th, and 29th and 30th... One of those weekends would be perfect for me and I can just make it an extended weekend by taking off the Friday and Monday with any of those.

I hope we can get a date picked very soon here cause I am trying to plan out another vacation whichever weekend I still have free that month after we decide... Thoughts? I'm sure you guys have input as to which weekend would work best for everyone that month.

I haven't even looked at a map to find out. Ill be coming from zip code 29204 if you want to look. If we are going the same way we can meet up. It will make the drive less boring if other cars are around.

I don't care what day ill just have to ask to get it off.

If Jason takes the same way I did, he'd be coming up straight through Indiana. He'll get off that expressway which goes N/S and then head west to Chicago then. That drive on in is only about an hour or two tops then.

So should we say the 1st weekend of August then? I'll call the camp grounds to figure out pricing and shit and get things going if that's the plan.
