Holy shit! OVER 100 PSI?! Dude, sounds like your ass needs a regulator. I cant imagine any stock rubber line, particularly off a NT, is designed to hold that kind of pressure. I'd maybe have your girlfriend start the car while you look under the hood and try to find where its coming from.

I blew off the return line off the rail. Damn. Fixed now
So apparently (according to tuners) anything over a 190 need a afpr... which was what specifically what I was trying not to do. See, shoulda just went with a 190. And now I have to cut the FPR out of the fuel rail because the 95s have it built in. WTF! Dude I just want this done... it's already taking 2 weeks longer than it was supposed to and now I have to wait another week.

The other thing is that people on tuners are probably talking about turbo DSM's... regardless of what pump you got I'm pretty sure you'd need one.
EDIT: Dave, the 255 is a noisy little bastard... mine doesnt quite sound like a lawn mower, but it does whine quite a bit.

When I was going to go w/ the 255 I was told that i would need a FPR but w/ the 190 you don't need one. I want to go w/ one either way plus a rewire if you go w/ a 255.

Ok here's what I got now... Never ends.
Somehow the wire going from the FP gauge going under the dash to the FP got ripped and split. The end result... a non-working FP gauge. Those gauges go up to max when not connected. So I got it rigged up as a temp (rewiring tomorrow) and it was reading somewhere around 60psi at idle and driving. I never got out of vacuum which explains why it didn't go up. I wasn't about to hit boost to see if it would go up. Still waiting on the damn WB, as it's now late since Wednesday.
So my problem may not be as bad I was thinking. Apparently on tuners, all the guys responding were 4g63 owners, thus them not knowing much about the 420a and our wonderful fuel system.
And that return fuel line that popped off yesterday when running hard, faulty clamp. Busted it right off so now I have a much better clamp on there. At least I was getting adequate fuel when I was running causing it to blow. By this weekend (as long as the WB gets in) she should be done. Bumper and everything.

Update for this week:
The fuel thing is basically worked out. I have to rewire the gauge so it'll read right. I don't know how but wires ended up all over the place and blah. So that'll get cleaned up.
Got my AEM Wideband O2 in the mail FINALLY so I'm going to get that installed tomorrow also.
While the DP is off, I'ma take off the WG dump and wrap both in header wrap and spray with the sealer. I may even go over some of the welds again too for good measure.
Then I'll start doing some low throttle tuning and get her up and running perfect. I've got her mad rich right now for the little trips I take. Can't wait. I've had this thing "done" for what now, 2-3 weeks? And I've still yet to feel full boost.

I feel ya man, believe me. I bought my Talon in March '06 and my first WOT pull to redline is going to be today, not to mention its finally not assuming 3.2 degrees of knock. I'm getting it turned up off of 10 pounds, 16-17 to be exact. :D

So today I did some more tuning. Yesterday was a bust because I was trying to do lo-throttle on the SAFC but apparently the ECU always tries to bring it back to 14.7afr. So today I put her on the expressway.
Was doing pretty well actually. Had a friend watching things while I was driving and watching and had minor issues upfront. Firstly, the FMU is working fine. When I hit boost, that thing shoots up. I really don't like the lag on it. It takes a second for it to start going up there at WOT, but then again, still not tuned fully.
I got from ~2500rpm to ~4000rpm to sit at 10.5-11.5afr which was pretty sweet. She PULLS all crazy style. The expressway, for being 9:00 at night, was more full than I thought so I didn't get big pulls. Also seems to bog down if I give too much gas or too little. Not sure what the percentage was, but it wasn't all the open.
I had a boost spike to ~10psi, which was then I pulled into a BK and checked it out. I melted yet another WG hose. That was number 6 I believe. Cut it in a small strip, reattached, and melted number 7 on the way home cruising at 50mph on the expressway (no boost). I NEED to fix that very soon, so car no run until then.
So cliffnotes
-Fuel is adequate from the FMU and 255FP
-No leaks!
-Melted more hoses
-Still bogging
-Whoppers are the SHIT after hitting the gym

WG hoses?
Wastegate hose, going from the Wastegate to the inlet compressor on the turbo. If you look at the pics on page 1 Joe, I'm talking the red hose going right over the manifold. I've used 3 different kinds of hoses and melted them all.
And whoppers are the shit. I don't see how places get away with charging so much more for 1 slice of cheese. Crazy world. And it was destiny yesterday, because BK had like .59 cent hamburgers. Act of god? I think not... but it works. lol.

Dave you should have known better than to run the line that close to the mani. Try to zip tie the line to the top of that waterline and see if that keeps the heat out.
david-b

Dude I had it running around toward the belts, then around to the radiator and along the top until it came back to the compressor. That was far out of the way I thought. The temp I made when coming back home had to go right over the mani because I had no other choice.

Got the vacuum line replaced with good line and she's running great. The little bit of tuning I did during the week actually was decent. The AFR at WOT is sitting between 10-11.9afr right now from 2000-500rpm or so... so I have to clean it up alittle. She's pulling mad crazy style at about 11.1afr. Took her on the expressway all weekend and put about 100+ miles on her and nothing but sweetness all across the board. I wanted to take a video, but my bro had my camera, so during the week I'll get some.
No issues with fuel, the FMU is pushing the FP right where it belongs. It's funny watching it raise as quickly as it does when under boost. All lines holding properly and no leaks.
I could be wrong or the boost gauge may be off, but it looks like I'm only hitting 5-6psi max. Spring is set to 7.25, so not sure what the deal is there.
I believe my spark plugs are fouled bad as they just feel bad. So those will get replaced this week with the colder NGKs and gapped to what was stated before. Should help move it up alittle at low throttle.
And last but not least, she sounds so sexy when running. Between the spooling and the BOV and the purring like a kitten with the cams, she's was a head turner everywhere I went this weekend.

Went out for some runs after the gym tonight to get some videos and the car was hitting 12s afr all night. What the crap!?!?! How is it 11s for the whole weekend, and then leaner the next day? Would bad plugs cause this? And how can I richen her up? Seems like the SAFC wasn't making any changes besides making her leaner when I dropped settings. Gah. She can't do that to me... I need my 11s.

Update...
My logger took a shit on me. I think it's the connector from the ODB to serial connector. Worked fine since i got it and then it sat in the back seat for months. Now it doesn't work. So I can't watch my fuel trims right now which sucks.
I dropped all the lo-throttle on the SAFC down to 0% and the car runs a million times better. Not all hesitating. When I used to shift the car would thrust violently back, but not anymore.
Colder spark plugs should be in today or tomorrow so hopefully that will help her out some.
Besides that I'm just getting her ready for the road trip. Fluids, air... all the goods.
And then when I come back I'm getting that fence-ownage checked out and estimated.

Ya, everything is in the North Meet thread. Highest speed? I don't take the car over 100mph due to mad vibrations that start at ~85mph. Tim's 50trim is just too much for my t3/4 running only 7psi. His car is dialed in. I'm not in the same group as him.

So my radiator cap or whatever blew the gasket on the inside and it's still leaking. So I'm going to buy a new one and hopefully it'll stop leaking from there then. Don't know how much leaked out coming home yesterday, but I didn't smell coolant at all. Tonight when I went to the gym I did and sure enough it was coming from the same spot it did when I overheated jumping Dustins car.
Also ordered another slimline fan today. This time got a 12" inside of a 10" and going to wire both together so they both come on at the same time, and have a manual switch (override) inside also. Then going to make mounts for the fans so they sit against the radiator a little better, since the mounts that come with aren't really the best. Then I want to pick up some of that better coolant, what's it Purple something or red something, and then flush and fill with that. Hopefully that'll all drop the temps a little. Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I may even run one of the fans on the outside of the radiator.

No. Don't need one. Plus not good to have in cold weather. Actually does bad in the extreme cold. Oil has no effect on the car overheating anyways.

Yeah, for winter use you will want to mix some antifreeze in also. It has the mixing ratios on the back of the Water Wetter bottle.
It doesnt get very cold in NC but in the winter I still add a little bit of antifreeze to my cooling system.

Update:
Second cooling fan went in no problem. So I now have a 10" slimline fan and a 12" slimline fan. They're both wired to turn on together. Didn't install a manual switch, but we'll see how this goes first. When the fans are on, you can feel air moving around the entire bay, not just infront of the one when it was just the 10". So that's definitely a plus.
Also got that new radiator cap on (yes it fit) and refilled with coolant. No leaks.
I think next... I'll try to figure out where I'm leaking oil from.

Alright... I'm looking for bigger injectors now. What size should I be looking for? I don't want bigger than 550s, but I should be able to get away with 330s right? I keep running a little lean if I WOT so I'd rather have it dumping more then lean it out with the SAFC. Ideas?

You MAY be able to get away with 330s and leaning out the SAFC. But your going to have to change the calibration on your FMU to a 7:1 or so. Best thing to do is run a SFMU and lower the idle pressure. Down to 25psi or so and run the static around 32psi. If you want to upgrade the fuel system do it right Dave.

I can't do it no. I hate body work. I'm just having a shop do it. Rather spend the money and make it look nice than to me screw it up more. I may get the whole side of the car repainted too since I need a new front fender also. Little at a time baby.
