My car port is off the alley basically in my backyard. It has a storage shed on the one side (dented from previous owners) and a fence on the other side. I've yet to hit either until last night... and it wasn't the shed. I did this coming home last night. I came around, always taking a wide turn, and still managed to scrape the side of the car. It wouldn't have been that bad, but the car got stuck so I had no choice when trying to move it without doing more damage. Check out the pics. The fence that I got pwned by. It was the links holding the gate on.  And now the damage...      The back panel is dented in pretty badly, and fence grinded in down to the metal. I was hoping to put some seal on it today or something... and it poured last night, so it's already turning rust brown. The door is also damaged, although not dented. What can be done about this? Bondo and paint? I'm thinking of calling my guy that did my bumper and getting a quote. Any ideas for anything? This really hurts. Oh and the pics don't show but there's a second scratch (not as bad) blow the big one where the bottom of the gate dug in too. So it's 2 big scratches.

 .You can go with dupli color to cheap fix, cuase it look like the scratch is pretty deep.

But like what though? Seems like I should be able to pop out the bigger dent from the inside. Then I was thinking bondo to fill in the gash. Yes? no?
I'm def calling the paint guy and seeing what he can do. It's a good thing I didn't get the whole car painted when I got the bumper done. I would have been seriously pissed. I've handled it pretty well so far. My girl is impressed. lol

I was coming back from a Brewfest at the horse track. $1 6oz samplers! But I wasn't drunk or anything if that's what you're getting at. I get a DUI/DWI and I get fired from my job instantly. I was sober. Just made the turn too sharp.

Pop the dent out but keep it a little low and use bondo to finish it.

Your not going to be able to do anything to that from the inside. You are going to have to pull the metal out from the outside. Bondo is only used to get the final contour.

Any have any ideas on the price we looking at for something like that? Has any one had a dent/scratch like that in another car or theirs? I really don't want to know... but I have to get that fixed. Not an option I can hold off on... like painting my bumper as long as I did lol.

Awe man that is a bad one. I wish I could tell u something helpful but I can't think of anything. Maybe just replace the panels? Theres gotta be some black 2g panels around somewhere for cheap

They have a great new process now that isn't too bad. You no longer have to drill holes and use a dent puller. They have a new tool that uses a solder gun of sorts, you solder little "nails" to the dent and then there is a tool that pulls the dent out. It is really slick. I don't know how much a body shop will charge you to pull the dent out but I am pretty sure, any shop worth anything will be using this new technology and the price shouldn't be too bad. You may even be able to just have them pull the dent and let you do the rest - I dunno.
Still sucks though... sorry.
