i wonder if it will carry into the new bod style. that would be the shit.
No way, I hate the new body style. My favorite body style is the 96-98 mustangs.

The Mach 1 uses the 96-98 cobra motor, so it is rated at 305 hp.

actually uses the 99/01 cobra motor. Not the 96-98 motor.

Not according to car and driver magazine. Beside that would bump the HP up to 320 unless they detuned it.

Motor trend doesn't connect the current Mach I to any model year.

Downsford, one of the top sellers of Ford Racing parts and mustangs---connects the engine witht he 2001 cobra.

Bottom line, the new engine still has differences then these other engines--especially since its using the intake cam of a 5.4L DOHC and a special exhaust cam. However, definetely a relative to all these engines.
