Looking good!

I have a sort of odd request. Since you seem handy with a camera and it takes good pics can you get me a close shot of the steering wheel to rack boot at the firewall. Driver's side, can't miss it. Appreciate it!

BTW what are you tuning with? I just got DSMlink and logged my cars first start-up since last June tonight. I can already see what the hype is all about.

Thanks.. and as per request ned.... and update :)

I still have alot of work to do, feels like it'll never get done at this rate, but it's slowly coming along.
I still gotta finish up with the wiring, get the injectors in, hook up the FPR, do the brake lines, get the Evo rotors and 3kgt calipers on, fit the fmic and make the piping, get the 4 bolt in, rear struts changed out, and install/ re-wire the fuel pump.. *gasp*

But today, went out Auto-xing and then tonight got a bit more done:

No but my husband has a brother ;)
But I had just saved up, bought the 3000gt, sold the 3000gt and felt like I won the lottery. So far I've spent around 3k including the purchase of the car.. Plus Brendan gave me a few parts :D

Lol.. thanks :)
.. too many! I'm only claiming 3 dsms as mine
We have:
90 red talon - (ear broke off on the block, getting sold)
92 red laser - (60-1 car, going to auto since Brendan can't shift)
94 red talon - (getting a motor in and selling)
91 green eclipse - (auto, Brendan's DD)
91 blue talon - (needs a crank)
91 black cherry - (needs core support, got hit in front)
91 black cherry - (My car, this thread)
91 silver talon - (my car, other thread)
91 silver eclipse - (my DD)
92 white laser - (parts car)
91 black gaylant - (burn victim)

(they're all AWD)

are any of the black cherry ones for sale lol i really need a parts car and if so how much... oh and are any of them still able to drive on the road????

kittay
04-23-2008, 05:31 PM
lol.. We've actually already sold all the ones we're not keeping.

Brendan actually got rid of a ton of the wiring and extra lines.. I do not like all that stuff, so I just told him get rid of what I don't need :D Sad to say, but I do not know very much when it comes to that, so the less there, the better off for me. Wiring frustrates me.

Sick engine. I love the simplicity of the color scheme, looks real nice. The powercoated purple along with the aluminum, and just enough stainless/polished stuff....its sweetskee

Thats not the TPS... its the Cam Positioning Sensor...

Nice work. I'm starting a project soon. Well as soon as I have all the parts and help from another member here. Dropping a Evo7/8 turbo engine in my Eclipse GS (originaly with a 420a)

Maybe I should have waited till a noob say: Why is the TPS on the side of the engine... and not on the intake.

Last weekend, we went racing. This weekend is Brendan's birthday. Next weekend is our anniversary. I really really hope it'll run sometime in June.

We're going to be making all new piping for the fmic. Have to re-do the O2 dump for the WG... and alot more stuff

kittay

Finally got a bit more done :)

Piping is done, aside from the open dump. We cut it, welded on a flange for the 38mm, and are waiting on the 1 3/4 pipe to come in (sigh backordered stuff). As soon as that comes, it will get welded on and everything will be going off to be powdercoated!

Got the FPR all hooked up and new lines on the fuel pump. Also waiting for my Fuel Lab inline fuel pump to come in the mail...
