midnight racer-

Sakatsu makes an and F20C for your S2000 in white metal. With a little bit of cutting the Tamiya kit, put those suckers together and you'd make one fine model. Sakatsu makes gobs of great parts, like Studio27, but different....

My wishes (could possibly be filled with decal sets, though)

1 Esso/Ultron Supra. Those tiger stripes are totally wicked (am I an LSU fan or what?)

2 Daishin Sylvia. Pretty orange baby...

3 New version of the NSX. Or at the very least, a reissue of the old Tamiya kit. Those things are getting hard to find.

4 1995-99 Eclipse in a plastic kit.

5 MG Midget 1971. So I can stick a rotary in that sucker....

oh oh oh an American spec 92' 240 SX Coupe. right now the only way i can build my car is to cut the back of a Silvia and glue it to the front of a 180SX but then the front turn signals and most of the nose piece would be wrong. did Revell or another American company every release a S13 240SX Coupe (non-hatchback) model? i imagine not do to the fact that 80% of the 240's shipped to North America were hatchbacks.

OK this is my (weird and varied!) list of kits i wish were made:

1993 Fiat Uno 1.0 (so i can build my car- dont laugh, its my first car!)

1989 Rover Montego 1.6lx (dads car- would like to build a replica for him, complete with all the rust, and little replicas of our mountain bikes on the roof rack)

TVR Tuscan Speed 6- complete with colour changing paint

TVR T350c- gorgeous little coupe from the guys in blackpool

TVR T440r LM- complete with DeWalt logos so we can make the cars they raced in Le Mans this year

Ariel Atom- that would look so cool with all the exposed chassis and suspension

Aston Martin Vanquish- actually not sure if anyone makes this or not but it should be made!

Ford Escort RS1800 (mk2 escort)- this would be so cool in rally trim . . .

I'm 'surprised' by the choices of a few here.
Whilst it's great to see such a varied choice, and it highlights the difference in tastes, there are a few real crocks here....... I'm NOT going to name any, for fear of starting a war..... (mind you - the black Nissan is a contender for a good arsonist...)
There are a few recent amazing cars that seem to be overlooked.
Is it due to licencing costs???
The recent 200 mph Jaguar CX-75 springs to mind..... Mind you, ANYTHING Jaguar would be good (Original XK8 please!!!)
Anything recent, road car Maserati would be nice, or an Aston Martin One-77 - a few of the smaller manufacturers - Ascari, Zonda, Koenigggzzzeeegggggg etc....
Even a decent plastic kit of the old Maserati Birdcage, or any of the 'old' '50's - 60's racers..

Roy.

MY wishlist. I like race cars:

-paris dakar vehicles
-Australian v8 supercars (falcon and holden..)
-European v8 superstar series
-WTCC
-IRC super 2000 cars
-Legend
-jaguar lightweight
-porsche 996 rsr
-Bmw M3 gt AND e46

Also it will be enough to make some new nice detailed serie of spocket rims with tyres with a price under 5 euros worldwide, as well as a decent wing serie.

More decal sets, printed decently and at a cheaper price,,as esci did in the 80s.
I am so bored to buy stuff from japan printed 100 kmts from my home in italy (read cartograf) for 30 euro.

It's great to see such a diverse list of wants so here are a couple more from me:

-Corvette Stingray racer concept car (it's a shame the most beautiful Vette concept ever has never been kitted )
-Shinoda-Williams C4 conversion (how good the Vette C4 could have looked had GM only listened to their former designer)
-BMW Z4 (I've built the Z3 & Z8 and would like this one as well)

That's good for me I'm not greedy.

Awesome series - We get good coverage (and a round of the series) here in NZ

Holden, Ford and this year Mercedes (C63) and Nissan have joined too.... A bit more variety on the grid will be good

Check this out for a bit of Aussie V8 humour.... Triple 8 have moved from Vodafone to Red Bull sponsorship for this year. This is a 'preview' of the team launch. Helps if you know the characters (Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup, Roland Dane etc) but funny all the same.....

Can you imagine an F1 team doing something like this.... ???

A decent MKI & MKII Ford Escort (Narton MKI no chance, Esci one excused).

Vauxhall Chevette HSR tarmac (McRae, Arikkila, Kaby etc).

A decent Opel Ascona & Manta 400 (again to Hasegawa, Tamiya standard).

If Tamiya have given up with modern day rally cars, it would be real nice for them to release some retro ones. They could convert the Sierra's to a rally version with minimal rework. Do Tamiya ever listen to what builders would really like?

Hey guys, out of curiosity, why aren't there more modern Land Rover kits out there? Im a LR fanatic but they have such unique designs I just know that a kit company would make a ton of money off of them. Does LR not typically give permission or something?

Chelsea Tractors aren't exactly race bred or in the Supercar bracket so I fail to see how there would be a demand for them. As the main model manufacturers are in Japan, the new models or road cars are predominately Japanese or Ferrari type supercars.

A Bowler Dakar LR derivative race car however would be great kit to build.
