So far... it's been a BAD week.
Monday night after I got home from work, I got online and got a messege from my best friend... it told me all about how her boyfriend dumped her, and she was just so depressed... so she had decided to kill herself.
She took about 30 excedrin pm, a bottle of ibuprofen, some xanax, and 5 depakote in order to overdose herself.
She had sent the messege at about 9pm, and I didn't get it until around 2am.
As soon as I did I tried calling her... got no answer at her number... didn't have her parents numbers, so I couldn't call them to check on her... so I called the cops and sent them to her house to check...
Luckily they found her in time... she was still alive... pumped her stomach and such.
And then early this morning she was taken to a mental institution near here and committed for therapy by her parents.
On the bright side, she is alive. I'm glad she told me about what she was doing, because she hadn't told anyone else, and she hadn't expected me to be able to stop her in time... she'd left letters for all her friends to read whenever they were supposed to find her.
But... I'm now without my best friend in the world until she's released which could be months, or even years from now...
and I have yet to be able to sleep.

I'm sorry man... that's some heavy shit to go through. But I can sympathize with her ex too...
The last 2 times I've tried to break up with my girl, she told me she was gonna kill herself, and I don't doubt her sincerity. Which has led me to stay with her for now (until I figure out WTF to do), which really sucks for me, but at least she's alive. However, I'm reaching a point where I've GOT to do something, and all I can do is hope she doesn't go through with it... It would kill me if she did.

www.illusiverides.com/forum is pretty tight, myfirst4g and ci5ic were over there for a little while before it shut down, but its back up and better than ever, so check it out yall
www.nwhonda.net is a pretty good site, most of the people on it are from WA but still a great site nonetheless, ci5ic, kicker, marc_os and some other people I have seen over there also.

it should be mighty fun, i juss won't tell any one that it'll end up costing me about 1/4 of what i still owe on my crx hehe, but it'll give me something to do since i don't have my crx here to work on... atleast i can work on it... hehe and i have some really cool plans for it... can you say ram air with functional hood scoops, some mild body work, it will kick ass... i may not have it running for a wile but it'll be worth it... or i could just buy a few diff. bodies for it and do em up differently mmm yeah

Today I was riding the shuttle back to campus from the student parking lot across the river, and I'm listening to the driver talk to one of the professors who was riding the shuttle. He starts talking about this car that he saw a while ago at a stop light, with a giant adjustable aluminum spoiler on the back. Anyways he said when the light turned green the guy driving to car floored it and went as fast as he could from the light. The shuttle driver said "I have a god damn shop vac at home with more power than that car had. All the kid was doing was wasting gas and looking like an asshole." Just thought I would share that amusing little story with the rest of you.
