Seems to have a fairly good foundation, but is lacking quite a bit of content at the moment and also seems to be overwhelmed with advertising.
Today was the first time I spotted it. If it's your labor of love, stand up and be counted.

His account hasn't shown activity since Oct. 2004. I don't know how likely it is he will see your PM.
Edit: I see that he posts over at SC.net. I assume that's where you sent the PM.

Usually people have email notification turned on, so they get an email telling them there's a message waiting. And if they have allowed the email feature, then you can send an email directly to their inbox. Assuming their email address hasn't changed, and they still check it, they will become of your message...no guesses on whether they read it or respond to it.

Well I was right. He said he just hasn't had the time to give it the effort it deserves but will get back to it later on. I'm sure we can help when he does.

hey guys,
I received Erik's PM at SC.net the other day, so I thought I'd drop in and say hi.
I run www.ExoticCarSite.com in my spare time, and I purchased the McLaren-F1LM.com domain a little while ago but never used it.
So I decided to make a start on creating a comprehensive McLaren site with indepth information [but not too personal due to posting addresses and personal information of owners] and other sorts of stuff. I'm intending to create a user gallery, where you can all dump your photos but I have been a little busy with life lately; much like why ExoticCarSite.com hasn't been updated in around 3 months now.
I have a contact within McLaren HQ (I forget his/her name but I can easily go through old emails to find it if needbe) and all I need to do is fax off some details to him or her to verify I am who I say I am, but due to personal reasons I never got around to it and just didn't bother, hence why no more updates.
I know other sites have tried, but failed to create a comprehensive site, but I figured with my ExotiCarSite.com background, I have a little more insider knowledge and worldwide contacts to make it happen. So I started McLaren-F1LM.com and today, I'm feeling rather energetic and wouldn't mind updating a car or 2.
The large advertisement to the left is going to be removed simply because, I hate it, but I have no idea what to replace it with? Suggestions?
I have corrected the errors found in the LM3 entry, and now most spaces are filled in thanks to Erik and Phillipe. Does anyone have any information they would like to ad?
I am open to listen to whatever you guys wish to do, as this is your corner of the internet, and you are most knowledgable in it.
I'm happy to add information you give me, so if you have any information, pics, vids, whatever, I am more than happy to add new cars as more information becomes available each time.
The intention with this site was / is to keep an up to date record of all the cars, where they were last spotted, and the city they can perhaps be spotted in if you are lucky. It also serves as an information site for all things McLaren, which is why the SLR and F1 links are also featured.
Add your information on verified chassis to this thread, and I'll update it every night if need be. As new information comes in time, old information may be deleted with new sources of information, to keep a running tab on the locations of these McLarens :)
So guys, the ball is in your court. :)

Couple of blanks as I'm not sure on its owner or its history.
I'm guessing its owner is also the owner of the ZAZ Museum, Mr. Tsuzuki, and that he has owned it since day one?

lol cheers bud :D
I've been lazy with the site, but busy in my personal life, so I haven't had much of a chance to do any updates to it, and since its been so long since the last update, I've kind of lost the interest to continue on as "catching back up" and updating everything I have missed in the past 3-4 months would be quite the task!
Its currently undergoing a transformation at the moment by a professional web designer person lol, and it should be completed within about 10-14 days.
So, withthis thread, Erik has convinced me to stop bumming around in my spare time, and focus back on ExoticCarSite [when its ready that is :p] & this F1LM site.

As far as we know, that is correct. You could put "Nagoya" as the 'State' in that record.

Just a quick note on the road car chassis numbers. There were several in the sequence that were not used. Three chassis were allocated for the first three F1 GTRs (#019, #026 & #027 became #01R, #02R & #03R). Others were simply skipped over with no real explanation given. I've made notes below on the changes needed:
019 <- remove
026 <- remove
027 <- remove
030 <- remove
032 <- remove
034 <- remove
035 <- remove
041 <- remove
075 <- add
Also, the F1 GT prototype was 56XPGT. The other two are 54F1GT and 58F1GT.
Finally, you need to add the F1 LM prototype which was XP1 LM.

Hello mister (I don't know your name)
I am Philippe who sent you an email. Bravo for your sites :)
I have a contact within McLaren HQ (I forget his/her name but I can easily go through old emails to find it if needbe) and all I need to do is fax off some details to him or her to verify I am who I say I am, but due to personal reasons I never got around to it and just didn't bother, hence why no more updates.
So, maybe, can you help me to discover which F1s are located in France ? We are aware of GTR #05R and maybe #15R ??
Thanks
Phil

Went back to see if any progress had been made, but apparently you've gotten busy again. I know how that can be, so no worries.
I did want to add a couple of things to the corrections I suggested. Seems you failed to include GTR #20R - minor oversight I am sure. Also, you've correctly listed #10R as a 1996 GTR even though it was built in 1995, but incorrectly (in my opinion) included #19R on the 1996 list. I'd put it with the other 1997's since there was such a drastic difference between the two model years even though it was the last F1 completed in 1996.
