Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

Well, with the Japanese thread going great (thanks to everyone for their contributions), i figgured i'd make it a little harder and try to get a decent sized list of F1's in Europe. I want to exclude England because quite a few F1's are there and most (not all though) are known but nobody has really tried to do a list of F1's in the rest of Europe. So here goes...

001 - Switzerland?

Look at the pics below and compare them to the pics of 001 in Driving Ambition. I've not seen another F1 with that black license plate thing on it that is that size (068 had one but it was bigger). I've heard that this car is in Switzerland

011 IS NOW IN THE US

016 IS NOW IN THE US

018 IS NOW IN SINGAPORE

036 IS NOW IN THE US

047 - BMW Museum, Munich, Germany

048? - Switzerland

051 IS NOW IN JAPAN

064
- Stockholm, Sweden

071 - Germany

075 - Switzerland?

The car below was listed for sale recently, could it be 075? SOLD

003R - ?

Owned by Thomas Bscher. Anyone know where he keeps it?

005R - France

Last seen at the
Circuit du Luc (South France) in 2005. French owner

011R - Germany

Currently for sale at KS Autohandel in Germany

013R - ?

Possibly now owned by Ralph Schumacher

014R - UK

018R - BMW Museum, Munich, Germany

022R - ?

Owned by Thomas Bscher

023R - Sweden

For sale at KS Autohandel in Germany

026R - ?

Is 026R the longtail GTR in the BMW Museum?

? - DESTROYED BY
BERND PISCHETSRIEDER

?

Michael Schumacher also owns a McLaren. It has confirmed through 2 people now. No info (including colour) known. Aparently, it is kept in his private garage

? - Monaco

Red car that resides in Monaco. Owner is a US based collector

Can anyone help in adding any?

Cheers

Chris

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

Cool - this should be great.

Interesting speculation on that being #001. Makes sense with the mirrors in the first two shots, but if you look a little closer the car in the third photo has the standard production mirrors.

#047 and #18R are definitely kept by BMW. They also have a longtail FINA car with an unconfirmed chassis number. Could be #26R as you suggest, but that kind of depends on what chassis is in Connecticut at Highcroft.

Bscher also owns #22R - not sure where the two GTRs are kept.

#13R is in Europe somewhere now - it would not surprise me if Ralf Schumacher purchased it.

Does anyone have any info on this car?

That is the car that Bernd Pischetsrieder destroyed. Compare it with the aftermath photo and you will see that the plates are a match. I'm still unsure of the chassis number though.

#064 is in Sweden - there are one or two people here who know the owner's name and location. I'm drawing a blank on it at the moment.

That's it for now...

#05R kept in France and french owner ; last seen : Circuit du Luc (south France) in 2005

Ciao

Ahh yes - how silly of us to exclude that one.

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

Great initiative! I'm sure this will proof to be a good knowledge repository and a thread that will last for a while, like its Japanese counterpart.

Detail-whining: 11R is indeed for sale at KS Autohandel, however this garage is located in Germany.

Not too sure if I will be able to add info regarding this fleet, but we'll see. I'll do my best ;-)

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

I had written down that #047 is in Russia.

#071's been destroyed, hasn't it?

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

040 is an English car even though it spends most of its time in Europe

I've added a red car that is in Monaco. No pics or chassis # unfortunatley

The article on #047 that some of those photos come from was reprinted in a Russian magazine and on a Russian website, but it most definitely the BMW Mobile Tradition museum car kept in Germany.

Oh - I must have another one then. I didn't have the aftermath photo handy, but now that I went to look I see that you can't compare those two and get a match. I'll clear it up later with the proper images, but the info is correct.
