I'm VERY tired of this build (but not bored :) ), now is time to see if all the pieces can fit easily for the people to mount it and this is more difficult than make the pieces.
Although I can imagine that you are tired in the sence of putting a lot of hours in this project I think you have the most fun parts ahead of you. THink of when you can add some decals to a smooth and shiny cowling surface. It will be worth every minute of work.

Believe me Joel, this is what I think every time to motivate my mind and also an important thing that motivates me is the people that I know that sees this project, sometimes I think: Ok let's do it, today I have to show to the people of AF (and from all the world using my website) how is going this build, and hope to make something new to show. And also another motivation for me is to think to make the pieces the best I can.
You are right I'm tired in the sense that I spend a lot of hours working but also thinking on how to do the pieces and also how to do the molds and also how to make a good quality resin pieces... so as you can see it's all in the package but, hey! I'm very happy to do this build, every problem I see I think: No problem just some putty here and some styrene there and it will be done.
Yesterday in other forum where I put the pictures too an user commented one thing about the front forks so I decided to see how it was going and I made screenshot to see posible problems and I saw two, of course they will be solved soon.

I will take a rest for a week maybe and then I will continue with this. :)
Thank you Joel

Hi mates!
After a rest making the Revell Airbus A380 (I will show you soon some pictures) I returned to this project. There isn't a lot to show but I'm on one of the most important steps.

All these pieces aren't finished yet, this is the idea of how it should be.

The main idea is glue those thin tubes, then cut them and put a nice photoetched screw. Remember, those pieces aren't finished, they will not be planes, they will have shape.

Sorry guys I forgot the description of what I did.
Well, I had to shorten the distance of the front part of the chassis, because it was 5mm longer and then the front fork was too much displaced to the front (so the bike was too long) I know that Tamiya's bikes are about 170mm long so I take it as a reference.
Talking about the angle of the front fork, it is correct because it keeps the angle of the RC211V and the only thing I did is to shorten the piece like this scheme:

Hope you understand it.

Thank's Nacho91!
Well I don't have tips I think that the whole thread is a tip because I don't have experience of how to make a build like this (except for the practise with the RsCube) and there are pictures of the step by step.
Anyway if anyone have some question about how I made some work or piece just ask and I will try to respond :)

I was planning on trying to scrath build a seat unit first.
Any tips about using the polystyrene and putty?
Once again your work is truly stunning

Hi Nacho, what do you mean with seat unit? I guess that this is the upper cowl-tank (the one I alredy made)
Well if it is the case I will try to explain it step by step:
1- If you want to make a real bike first you need a picture or a draw from the real bike on the left or right view one like this:
http://www.rocascalemotorcycles.com/varios/explain1.jpg
2- You will need a box of foam and then put and draw the desing over it.
I bought mine here http://www.dickblick.com/
http://www.rocascalemotorcycles.com/varios/explain2.jpg
3- You have to cut the draw completely parallel to the box so it will have the same shape in both sides, in this step is very important to use an electric saw because it is really hard to cut with the knife and have both sides equal.
4- If you see the result from the top view, you will see a box but if you look on the side view you will see the shape you cut, so here is the most important step, it is really hard to find a picture of a bike in the top view so you can now start to polish the foam in order to give shape on the top view (I don't know if I have explained it well)
5- Once you made the piece you can copy it in resin to have a more harder piece and more easy to polish and to add putty but you can try to add putty to the foam (is important to test first if the foam doesn't melt because of the solvent which contains the putty)
Hope you understand it, if you have any doubts, please feel free to post a reply.
