Does anybody know of a good place that checks out ecu's or rebuild's them? I have a 91 CRX hf.:banghead:

What's the problem? Usually if an ECU goes bad, you just get a used one.

I have no spark. No code light comes on at all, & the check engine light don't come on when the key is turned on. I have checked switch, fuses, igniter, main relay & some wiring. Any idea?

If no light is flashing at all on your ECU, including the initial start up flash check for power coming to the ECU. If all seems ok, pick up another ECU (PM8 i believe) used from a scrap yard and try it out.

Pin B1 is the +12v power supply to the ecu from the battery. If memory serves correct, it should be a wht/grn wire.

get a new one if the start up light (one flash) doesn't come on.

Only if he's not getting power to the ecu. A blown alternator fuse or a loose fat white wire on the alternator could cause this as well.

haha... just a thought.. check your hazard fuse on the strut tower in the main fuse box :)

it's the 10 amp one, I believe.. (blue?) anyone, it's like practically the only ATX fuse in the box... and it's all alone.. by the way, you can replace your stock ECU with almost anything that has EFI on it.

PM6 is the Si ECU For the CRX, not sure if it's the same for the Civic Hatch Si and Wagon, tho I would imagine it is, since they all had the same engine in them.

GL and happy driving. ;)

Hey thanks people! After buying a Honda service manuel off ebay, I FINALLY got it going. It told me to check 4 wires coming out of the ECU for voltage & if it was more than 1 volt each, then the problem was between wires from ECU to thermostat housing. Guess what, those wires are grounded, or (supposed to be) to the housing. The housing wasn't getting grounded good to the block because of corrosion. You can use your Haynes manuels for door mats! Thanks again
