*edit* Where did you get the decals? Or did you print them?
Ooops my bad, you typed, it.... Hope you don't have this already written but, what did you use to print them? Alps printer?
the decal was printed on my ink jet. i wish i had an alps printer. luckily, i got decal paper that was designed for ink jets from Bare metal foil.com. im contemplating puting some bare metal foil underneath the robot part so make it look shiney.

Hey Coz, Is the decal paper the clear stuff? If so, It won't work on your orange paint (only really light colors, ex. white). The colors of the decal darken, i have the same stuff and it didn't work on my RX-7. Im gonna try white decal paper next time and trim it as close as possible to the decal. Also, would it bother you any to send me a pic of the your decal, the one I have is kinda good for resizing and hand fixing it, but nothing like yours. Here's what mine looks like on computer.

Hope you try out a small decal on a test part to see what happensbefore putting it on your model. Hate for it to go wrong.

Yeah, the kind of decal sheets that's designed for inkjet printer don't come out too well if printed on clear decal sheet. The color doesn't come out opaque enough (except the black maybe) and will likely won't be visible once applied.
Translucent green on orange background... mmm... brown?
