How do you positively know that we are talking about the same guy?? There are a lot of people in Hong Kong!! I don`t know whether you are right or not, under this id I don`t feel that he scammed anyone.

I still maintain the fact that he didn`t scam me, and I received shipments at the end of January `06. Maybe I was just lucky, but if he was going to cut and run then surely he would have taken all payments and supplied nothing to anyone?

I too have read his feedback comments and it appears to me that most people who left negative feedback, 3 individuals, 2 were concerned about damaged goods and one who did not receive goods at all. The few people who left neutral were mainly concerned with packaging or slow delivery. Any one can see by checking his last months feedback, 20 pages of 25 entries per page, 5 Neg and 9 or 10 Neutral is a small percentage. Overall in the last 12 months, 985 positive, 10 neutral and 8 negative, IN MY OPINION, does not constitute a scammer. I do add that everyone who posts here has a right to voice their opinion and I also respect that, but surely those figures, ebays figures not mine, should tell us something?

I understand your view. Heres a few extra points...

He hasn't been a member for 12 months, only 3 months. I don't think anyone has been able to leave any FB for him since the day his account was closed. My option to leave FB for him was erased by eBay on that day. Also, for every neutral or negative left theres probably 5 more who don't bother, especially when dealing with sellers that withhold FB until the buyer leaves FB. Thats basically blackmail. Leave a positive, receive a positive, leave a negative, receive a negative even if you've done everything right. Only a minority of users leave negatives for non service on eBay, most leave no FB and just move on.

It doesn't take over 2 weeks to lodge a valid credit card with eBay and pay your outstanding debt. It can be done in 10 minutes. He must have used a valid card to open international eBay and PayPal accounts in the first place. Regardless, that account doesn't appear to be suspended, its closed. Done and dusted. Theres no incentive now to mail out any kits.

Only time will tell, I really hope nobody here gets ripped off. My only interest now is to learn how these individuals work and not get ripped off in the future. Besides, I like a good conspiracy theory. :icon16:

Seems like exshowroom has settled his differences with ebay at least. I checked his username and he seems to be operational again, although he doesn`t have any kits up for sale as yet. He is still using `exshowroom` and the `no longer a registered member` anotation has gone from his profile.
From this i`m guessing that ebay don`t have a problem with him either.

I accept that his negative feedback has increased but maybe some of those cases have resolved themselves or are in the process of being resolved. I will continue to monitor him and see if things pick up again. I would still be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and use him again as I personally never had a bad deal from him.

I hope all you guys who have had a bad deal do get it sorted.

Been waiting for my kits since 3rd Feb, I have in the past had kits from H/K including one from him in a previous guise, post seems to be slow at times, not yet at the dispute stage quite yet, he said it went out after the new year celebrations and feedback from people who bought before me is only just appearing. i do hope this is not my first 'rip off' :frown:

Sorry to resurect this but my kit still hasn't arrived despite many emails back and forth, I finally went to dispute because the 90 day time limit was immenent, and was told I couldnt claim as the amount was too low. So I reluctantly left my negative feedback, I even gave him one last chance to redeem himself in the reply through ebay and what do I get? Negative feedback :angryfire because I complained! I paid for this item on 23.1.2006 its now 24.4.2006 and he has since sold a lot more kits and ripped a number of other people.
Sellers like this should be thrown out, I now have a negative feedback for paying on time and actually wanting what I paid for:banghead: silly me!

If anyone actually knows him can you go round and break his windows for me.Its a shame as he has loads I would buy but now won't on principle, its also put me off ordering from HK which is most unfair on the genuine traders :frown:

If you allow me, I think the way eBay designed sales/auction/payment processes is a key factor in creating scams. eBay get involved only when there is a dispute of any kind and the only solution is they suspend the user account. I am a strong supporter of the business strategy/process design where auction marketplace takes more responsibility in the process, as a provider/regulator of the marketplace, in order to ensure that all parties transacting are satisified. Process design should cover how the seller get assurance that his sales transction will be paid and the buyer has the financial resources to meet his/her obligation. Also the process design should include a mechansiem to ensure the buyer get the item he/she bought.

It a complex process, but it is fair to say that value for money as a seller/buyer will be much higher than what eBay is offering to customers now.

wow.
no offence meant but you really are one for dramatics aren't you.
one bad fitment/build issue with one kit and it's "do not trust fujimi"
one bad experience with ebay/paypal and it's "I never use these services now".

no offence but bad things happen in every possible environment. What happens if a shop you got accidentally overcharge you or sell you a kit that had a broken part? No more buying from shops?

i've had more than one bad experience on ebay but there's no way in hell i'm going to let them very few people keep me from using the very many good dealers on ebay.

In order to keep continuity he is actually having a go at a post I made, one I’ve since deleted. It didn’t actually bare any relevance to this thread anyhow.

But to defend, I was overacting with a Fujimi Statement I made and I’ve already admitted that was stupid and incorrect, however I strongly disagree with the rest of what this guy says and I’m fairly offended with what he has wrote.
