I got my 1993-Cavalier 4-Door Wagon at a place called "Jumbo-Auto" for $1400.00.
It had 160,000 mile on it, And a transmisson problem, Ok no biggy.
Rebuild tranny $650.00
Mis-parts $200.00
Less than one year later bought a new engine $750.00
Total $3,000.00.
And still spending Money on it, Go figure.

$1000-94 cavalier, totaled it a year later, got $2000 for it, come to find out the adjuster screwed up, I got to keep the $2000 and it only cost $300 for 2 new front fenders, bumper and headlight assembly, thats paint and body work, motor wasn't even damaged(body guys were my buds). Does anyone know if a rs model comes in a 4-cylinder? Mine has RS decals but its a 2.2L

lol, I dont know if it was legal or not, but the insurance guy never changed the title to salvage either and the car is still carried by the same provider. I paid the $300 to have the car fixed, but I honestly dont know what happened, but that was 2 years ago, I hope they don't ask for the money now.

I feel now like I overpaid. Sticker was $17,800 on a 2.2L 04LS coupe auto with 10 miles. with rebates and incentives it brought it down to 14 even, but then Lo Jack, that paint protectant (god what an idiot I was) and taxes brought it back up to $15,500 or so. oh well, live and learn.

K Question Not Related To Cars
Can You Use Non Dell Products Like A Lexmark Printer On A Dell Computer...????
Yea you can.
On the 5 speed remark. I'm very glad to hear that! I hate the fact that so many people are adamant that they wont drive a standard. Personally I feel that have the car do more for you removes you from the experience and also can lead to you switching to 'autopilot' more easily and could be potentially more hazardous not to mention standard being infinitely better for snow and ice seing as you can pull away in 2nd or 3rd to beat wheelspin and you can regulate the clutch to prevent this also and of course, engine braking. I hardly ever use my brake pedal in the snow only when someone is behind and I want them to know i'm slowing down and even then it's only hard engough for the lights to come on and not the brakes. My cousin almost bought an Audi TT about 4 years ago but didn't as they were only available in std and they refused to learn!!! WTF they really wanted that car but in the end it came down to laziness!!! In England we have the opposite, People wont buy an Auto as it's a 'Waste of Money' people think 'why pay extra to have something I can do myself'!!!! Autos are rare and the rest of Europe is pretty much the same too!

02 Cavalier LS Sport Coupe. Power everything, 14k miles. $8800. Sticker price was $13k. Negotiated and got them to drop it down that much ;)
Only dropped an Apexi exhaust, and K&N Cold Air Intake into it so far. Next up for me is rims, window tinting, and a body kit. Once I get those three I'll start working on other things.

I paid $1100 canadian for my 97 2.2L 2dr cav with 139,000km (not miles) It needed a bit of body work, dints, rust, scratches peeling paint, it had it all. also it needed a new gas tank 200cdn installed, new door hinges, power window motor, and a rear strut all for 175 cdn I installed those myself I also got a set of rims with used tires with about 85% tread left for $130 from a junkyard. after all the parts were bought and installed I took the car to a body shop I did all the sanding, filling and most of the body work on the car and got it painted for $750 cdn and damn does it look good now after a total of about $3000 (including purchase price).

I got my 04 cav with 12 miles on it, sunroof, auto (wife can't drive stick) for a tad over 10k. after payments touch over 11k....
I also have a white 04 Cavalier. I got it as a GM Certified Used Vehicle with only 28,000 miles on it. Also an automatic(which I hate), 4 Door, manual windows. Oh it has a CD Player but that has to be standard these days I guess. No alarm or keyless entry. The had a one day advertised sale price of only $8,000. Though I think this was also because it doesn't have any features. My mother bought me mine(Only took her 17 years to make good on her promise), so my only choices were "take it?, yes? or no?" :lol2:

'03 Cavalier LS with under 10k miles cost me just under $10k. Something weird....somewhere in it's brief history, one of the owners added hood scoops. Makes it look sporty....but they are purely ornamental and don't go anywhere beyond the surface of the hood!
