Low Idle

i'm not very good with cars, so i'm not sure what the problem is. my 1994 sl2 is a manual and sometimes stalls when the clutch is pressed and i come to a complete stop. so far, it has only done this within the first 10-15 minutes of starting the car. after that, when i press the clutch and come to a stop, the idle drops very low, almost stalls, and then jumps back up to maybe 500-700 rpms. what could be causing this? i'm hoping there is a simple solution because i can't afford to throw lots of money at the car to have this fixed. thanks.

do you have a SES light? does the throtte ever get stuck closed and you almost have to kick it to open it back up?
get some sensor-safe carb cleaner, take off the intake tube and spray into the throdde body, moving the plate by hand, and be sure to get in the little hole at the bottom of the throddle body too. if you feel dareing, take off the EGR valve and clean it out too, the EGR gasket may need replaced, but sometimes you can reuse it. let it soak briefly(5 minutes top)then while every thing is still loose, start up the engine and let that gunk burn up

check the EGR, as noted in the linked post. Let me know if this is it.

thats the same peice, 90% of the time $5 of carb cleaner will save the cost of replacing the unit.
if that doesn't help, you may have a bigger problem. ask over at saturnfans.com/forums/
