well i thought that seeing as no one has made one of these gorgeous bodykits that i might have to be the first to complete one.
I love the sheer agressivness that this kit has, its quite frightening compared to a lot of kits out there.
As you can see i have started on the front bumper, i have removed all the not needed parts from the standard bumper and sketched what i need to cut from styrene.
Cant wait to get it finished. do luck side skirts are next on the list, these will be based on the standard skits by the look of things.
more pics as soon as i have done more

waiting for glue to dry etc before fitting.
more photos tomorrow.
this certainly is turning out to be quite rewarding

Looking good Chris. How many projects do you have going right now? The Celica, finishing the RX-7, and this? Finally I can see a body kit built step by step, with using mostly styrene.
Keep us updated with this and the Celica!

well at present i have as follows on the go:-
Celica
GS430
Skyline
FTO
RX7
need them all to keep me going.
As for the bumper here we go, i have applied puttly and am wait for it to fully dry before shaping it.
I think its coming along ok at the mo.
Also im glad people are enjoying the step by step photos, i would love to take the mystery away from them, so that more people create them.
We all need to share what we know

well here is a little more progress, now i have to wait for the putty to dry so i can create the ridges as per the do luck kit.
Sides are nearly none, just the blending needed to get them nice and tight to the sides.
But its all going to plan so far, just taking my time
http://chris.nwwo.com/store/doluck%204.jpg
http://chris.nwwo.com/store/doluck%204%20(1).jpg
also just started on the side skirts, again wait for putty to dry

all the plastic work is done here, so now it can be blended in. might leave it till tomorrow to start the sanding.
but i think this is the first official doluck R34 front bumper in 1:24 scale.

well sanding/carving some of the more "finer" details is gonna drive me insane!
but its getting there, cant wait to spray some primer over the top so that it all turns into one piece!
its gonna be in blue and as per the Sumopower skyline, sumopower is a tuning shop/importers and the skyline in question has over 1000bhp at present. i believe it just went over the 1100hp not long ago!

which grill do you mean to open up? as the intercooler intake is the same size as the standard one?
altho the top grill has a lot more shaddow but no larger than the origional. there are still a few details to add tho and its far from perfect yet.
but not bad for two days work (about 4 hours in total)
i have given it a quick slap of paint to show a little more what it will look like when its fiished as its so hard to tell when you just have putty and dfferent coloured plastics here and there!

get a bit of plastic card cut the right sized hole out. shape it round the round the light with heat, hair drier that sort of thing. then make 4 triangle shapes for the duct. glue on the back of plastic card light.
hard 2 explain but if it goes wrong at least you havent wreck the kit lens
