A shitty Radiosity render.

That Radiosity render (where the computer calculates the amount of light bouncing from a light source, to an object, thus making the object a light source itself, and etc) looks crappy. =/ Need to fix the textures and some of the geometry so it is more even.

Dang, I didn't realize the comp ends on a saturday. I can't get to a scanner until monday. I scanned it when I was half way done with the coloring. So this is all you guys get to see until later. I wish I could've made the deadline. The original picture is my Volvo S70.

Now that you've all seen my work, I want to show you my inspiration. This guy is in every aspect my God. I hope it will provide some inspiration for others too. It is 100% possible (and actually, not too incredibly difficult either). The reason why his looks so much better than mine is that his are done with subpatching and weights where as mine are completely spline modeled (these are just different techniques of modeling, subpatches are smoother and more realistic, splines are more "accurate" in that they can be measured perfectly). Also he has been using UV mapped textures, and I haven't had the time to teach myself to do them so I just use solid colors.

Those 3D renderings are really nice, but trust me you haven't seen nothing yet...

This guy is the best I've seen so far. And he doesn't just render existing cars, he makes his own models ;) :D

Those are pretty tight, but he needs to apply caustics to those transparent models... maybe do some HDRI texturing also... of course, than he's probably looking at 3 days worth of rendering... for one frame =)

The same problem, i was shaded my drawings very well , but my scanner keep it lighter
