Well I would Like to See You Take the Nearly 400 HP ZR1 corvette, Or the Z06 (405 HP) Or one of the Fuely Cars 375 HP or better Yet the Ledgendary Try-Power cars, or the L88 Rated at 350 but had 600.

Mustangs were made for hot-rodding, and even a V6 can really rock!
For instance, I did a complete package for a guy in L.A. (California)
and he started with the 150 BHP V6, (about 115 RWHP) and he stopped
at 332 RWHP (SC) and is now doing the stroker V6 deal, up to 4.3 liters,
and after the BV heads, bigger cam and intakes, we will pass 400 RWHP
and that all started as a 115 RWHP setup. :grinyes:
You guys are right, a stock single port (94-98) was nothing to
brag about, but it can be made into a killer combo. So can a GA
but cubes are a better starting point, at least do a V6 and if you
start with a 4 cyl. consider a turbo. RPM's are nice but cubes
and RPM with boost is the way to go :sunglasse

Actually RGR is right , I seen some pretty monstous V6 stang setups that make the dressed up V8's look like a kitten. I also found out that they are cheaper to set up and very reliable for moderate usage of nitrous and turbo combos. I dont hate the stang's , Its just not the car for me is all. I had enough fun with rwd's now I wanna play with fwd's and 4X4's.

ok when im rated at 400 hp with
16g turbo
550cc injectors
255lph feul pump
Greddy FMIC
UICP+LICP
GM MAF/translator(yes a gm product is better than mistubishis)
LSD(limited Slip Diff)
AFC-R, Boost Controller, S-AFCII
and i will be at, if not above, 400 hp.
but they will still be stock. thus, if they had these mods, theyd be alot faster. but how many modded corvettes do you see? ok then. most owners think theyre good enough and leave them at that. they never unlock the true potential of their cars. yet most of us still base a modded cars potential against being able to take a stock vette. its all good.

Ya man I agree , taking your average street car like mine for example and seeing how much work is involved just to get small gains let alone big gains , aiming to keep up with a stock vette gives you a better respect for what the guys who made that car in the first place musta went through.

People buy Vettes as daily drivers, I would say most Vette owners get it as a status symbol or something like that. A modded 10 secong Vette would be great at the track but how easy would it be to drive on the street? Most of the vette drivers I see are 40+ business men that just want a nice daily driver to flaunt around.

(85) and the 84 vette I was playing with gave up over 55 MPH...
I was stock too, and thru 1st and 2nd gears I was slightly quicker, :grinyes: he started it, and when he found I was
a bit more than he expected, he backed down and I considered
it a triumph. But then again, an 84 vette was not that big a deal.

Well I acually See A lot of Modded Vette. I would in a specialty Shop, we specialize in Vettes. I see many different cars though. We have a 67 Camaro SS (Fat block) fast as hell. But we see mainly vettes. 84 Vettes were good for one thing, there Handling, to date they have the best skid track rating , aside from the new Z06. But they were Slow compared to the other Vettes.

I expect when I get my new invention up and running,
I will be doing more vette stuff (I do a bit of chevy now)
I'll get the website up and requests should flood in!
I call it Poly-Hone, it is a cheaper version of Extrude Hone.

Cool That sounds like a good Idea, but I wouldn't give much info out about it untill you can get it patented.

It will probably just remain secret, safer that way
and I am registering my invention thru the usual
means that are used to keep it secret. A registered
letter sent to myself, that records the date of
origination by means of the postmark.
I have had so many things I invented, did first,
thought of and so forth copied by people, and
to make matters worse they then acted like it
was their own idea... so this one is my cash-cow
and no one else is getting any piece of it!

I like to document stuff i invent , then Its copywrote through dates set by the Inet , before i had i net i would mail a document to myself and leave it unopened.

I'm gonna do that myself too, the email thing, the
date stamp on that also validates the invention :)
and it is impossible to "edit" emails without re-sending
them and changing the date stamp... AFAIK.
So I will have 2 ways for that! Thx mark, I almost forgot!
I am waiting until my B-day, Mar. 26th,
the invention will be same B-day as me,
who is 3 weeks (to the day) older then Mustangs!

no problem. just remember not to reformatt your hard drive without saving the info with dates and times for your invention or youd be screwed lol

Stang guy , my 2000 grand am SE damn near keeps up with mustang GT's stock , Im sorry to burst your bubble.
unless it's an older GT and/or you have several mods, it ain't happening. 99+ GT's are capable of 13.7-14.0 in the 1/4 with a good driver.
I work for ford , i have driven the v6 , v8 , the 3.9 v8 thunder bird has bout 20 less hp than a gt and moves much much quicker than a stang v8 all through the gears and is auto.
no it's not. you obviously haven't driven any of those cars. the T-bird is much slower than the GT. the GT has more HP, more TQ, and less weight.
The ford focus Zx3 is almost as quick as the v6 if not quicker.
wrong again. the only stock Focus sold in the U.S. that is close to the V6 Mustang in acceleration is the SVT. both have run low 15's.
I also am aware that the focus svt will beat a mustang gt stick to stick if you use the rpms wisely.
that's funny, because i own a 1999 GT automatic convertible and a 2004 SVT Focus. the SVT is nowhere close to the acceleration of my GT when it was stock. and that is with the automatic and added weight of the convertible!
I know alot about ford cars
obviously not.
and if you don't believe i own both cars, i'll be glad to send you a pic of any part of either car with a note of your choosing included.
